In breaking news, Ft. Bend ISD home owners are more than worried when considering the double-edged sword that may transpire very soon. Many homeowners are advocates for Fort Bend ISD teacher retention and raises for the staff,

BUT WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR homeowners and their home tax rates.

If the $35 million dollar (VATRE) bond is approved, the tax rate of $0.98 for every $100 of property valuation could increase by $3 per month for every $100,000 of valuation. To some this could be a small price to pay for strapped educators and to others they might notice a $40 and up dif

ference in their monthly bills.
